Demand Funding for a 10-Bed Winter Shelter in the Creston Valley

Winter is coming, and no one should have to sleep outside in the cold. Take two minutes to write a letter asking local and provincial leaders to fund a 10-bed overnight temporary winter shelter in the Creston Valley. How Can I Help?

1️⃣ ADVOCATE for a winter homeless shelter in Creston.
Through the cooperation of Trinity United Church, ANKORS, and BC Housing, with a permit from the Town of Creston, people experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity in our community have had a warm place to sleep on the coldest nights through the Emergency Weather Response Shelter. While we are ecstatic that this resource has been open 10 times since Feb 16, we would like to see a daily winter shelter available in Winter 2026/2027.
